Two Pisces staff have been working with AmazonEco, the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology and Operation Wallacea, in the Peruvian Amazon.
Every year since 2006, Natalie Swan has spent the summer in the Peruvian Amazon, teaching students and volunteers, and studying the ecology and conservation of caiman. In summer 2008, Peter Henderson also spent a month teaching the same groups, studying the incredibly rich fish fauna and other wildlife of Amazonia.
Among other benefits from this particular project was the collection of photographs, video and other content for our multimedia CD Fish of the Amazon and their Habitats.
